Dave Atkinson
Dave Atkinson is a Perth local acoustic musician who began his journey with his acoustic guitar at the ripe age of just 12 years old. With many years honing in on developing the skill of playing the unique style of finger picking, Dave is well recognised in the industry for his versatility in playing both acoustic and electric guitar. Forming the Perth Dire Straits Band back in 2018, Dave plays alongside some amazing musicians in the current Perth music scene. Recently stepping into his solo career in 2025 as Shangri La Road, Dave has hit the music scene with high demand. Dave’s song choices are heavily influenced by musical geniuses such as Mark Knopfler, Tommy Emmanuel, Eric Clapton and Paul Simon. With his abundance of talent, he has us all wanting more!!
