In this interactive experience, you’ll become part of the drama as you work alongside fellow guests to unravel the mystery. The story unfolds throughout the night, creating a captivating atmosphere as you try to piece together the clues. Will you solve the crime before dessert is served?

Cocktail of Murder – The Plot So Far

Drink to the ‘Roaring Twenties’ in this murder mystery dinner experience like no other. Join crime writer Jonathon Mapletree and a cast of suspicious characters as you solve the mystery and work out whodunnit.

It is 1929, and London is about to witness the latest drinking club ‘GATSBYS’ opening in Mayfair. This club will be the first to allow women members, and it is already causing a stir! This stylish establishment is the brainchild of Elliott Strong and has the financial backing of writers F Scott Fitzgerald, Agatha Christie, and PG Wodehouse.

The London fashionista set is already clambering for membership, it is the place to be seen for sure, and the drinks are to die for.

Enjoy a delicious three course dinner as you question the suspects, decipher the clues and work to crack the case. And remember: when there’s murder on the menu, question everyone, trust no-one!

You are invited to dress in the style of the period as you work together to solve the mystery.

Your ticket includes a welcome drink. Further drinks can be purchased from the bar.  Three Course Set Menu to be advised shortly. Please advise of any dietary requirements at time of booking in the special request section.

Booking your place – important info: you will be seated around tables of 6 or 8. If it is likely that friends will be coming along too, please make a note of their name in the special request section of your booking so we can seat you together.

Entrée:
Ricotta Tortellini (V) Ricotta and spinach, sage butter, walnut

Main Course:
Beef Cheek (GF) Slow-braised beef cheek with garlic mash potato, red wine jus
OR
Chicken Roulade (GF) Chicken roulade with ricotta, mushroom & spinach with white truffle mash, butter kissed carrot, broccolini & blueberry jus

Dessert:
Chocolate Mousse (GF) Nutty chocolate mousse, white chocolate drizzle, macadamia nut crumble, chocolate feather, cherry on top

PLEASE READ REGARDING REFUNDS: In the event of a cancellation for a ticketed event at Mahogany Inn and Distillery we require a minimum of ten (10) days notice to issue a refund of the ticketed price, minus the transaction fee. If your ticket is cancelled with nine (9) days or less notice, we must resell the ticket(s) to issue a refund.
