Enter the village of Pokeingham-Softly-on-the-Wold in this classic murder mystery dinner experience.

Meet crime writer Jonathon Mapletree and a cast of suspicious characters as you solve this quintessentially British mystery.

It is Christmas Eve 1939 and the English Cotswold beauty spot Pokeingham-Softly-On-The-Wold is celebrating the life of Rose Stimper, who had made the village her home for almost seventy years. Rose loved Christmas time…so what better day to choose than this!

Miss Stimper, in an act of philanthropy, has bequeathed the village a large sum of money and left instructions that the villagers must decide how best to spend it. A public meeting to celebrate Rose’s life has been arranged and the village is buzzing with excitement.

This will be a party like no other. Everyone has ideas on how to spend the money, and the entire village turns out to attend Pokeingham Hall, which has been thrown open for the first time in many years to host the event.
But beware, all is not as it seems. There are dark forces at work…

Enjoy a delicious three-course dinner as you question the suspects, decipher the clues and work to crack the case. And remember: where there’s a will, there’s a murder!

Booking your place – important info: you will be seated around tables of 6. If it is likely that friends will be coming along too, please make a note of their name in the special request section of your booking so we can seat you together.

PLEASE READ REGARDING REFUNDS: In the event of a cancellation for a ticketed event at Mahogany Inn and Distillery we require a minimum of ten (10) days notice to issue a refund of the ticketed price, minus the transaction fee. If your ticket is cancelled with nine (9) days or less notice, we must resell the ticket(s) to issue a refund.
