Open House at Mahogany Inn and Distillery

Step inside one of the Hills’ most historic landmarks and experience the Mahogany Inn & Distillery as it is today — and as it has been remembered.

Join us for a relaxed Open House featuring guided accommodation tours, where guests can explore our rooms and learn more about staying at the Inn. Enjoy complimentary tastings of our Spirits of Mahogany gin and award winning vodka, proudly distilled on site, along with a free wine tasting hosted by the House of Fine Wines. Our kitchen will also be serving complimentary nibbles in the Distillery.

Adding a special historical layer to the day, the Mundaring and Hills Historical Society (MHHS) will be on site with a display exploring the rich history of the Mahogany Inn. MHHS members will be available to answer questions and, importantly, to record visitors’ stories or scan photographs or documents connected to their own memories and experiences at the Inn — helping preserve its living history for future generations.

Whether you’re a local, a history lover, or simply curious to see behind the scenes, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the past and present of the Mahogany Inn and Distillery.

If you’d like to have a tour, please just turn up from 12pm. Last tour will be starting at 2.40pm.
